LONGING FOR HOME

“Longing for Home” is a Spring/Summer 2023 Collection that captures one’s feeling of homesickness, an emotional distress caused by being distant from home. This collection portrays the distorted vision of home through the eye of a homesick person, as they begin patching up memories with details of house furniture being displaced to their own body. The disoriented state of mind that yearns for home and the sense of attachment is embodied through the curtain-like drapes that entangles the body, and details of tapestry, floral prints and soft colours that evokes the nostalgia of home.
